CHANGE OF TRIP PURPOSE

Saitama is a large city in the greater Tokyo metro area, and the location for a new Mustard Seed church started by our partners, Kevin & Nozomi West. Since its launch in the spring of 2025, the church has worked hard to connect with the surrounding neighborhoods and create opportunities for visitors to feel welcomed into the gospel-centered community.

In years past, our team has hosted public evangelism events and engaged in college campus outreach, but due to a few external factors, the 2026 trip has been modified to be a vision trip. The team will learn from the staff at Mustard Seed Saitama, serve its members, experience a Japanese language class, participate in an English class, and more. It will be a great opportunity to learn more about Saitama, serve a partner church, and encourage Kevin & Nozomi West. 

The cost of this trip is $3,000. The funds will cover flights, lodging, meals, and transportation. We encourage support raising for all of our trips.
