Details
Join fellow readers in a book discussion group facilitated by Christ Covenant members and dedicated to reading the greatest books that have shaped Western civilization. Not only do these books provide superior entertainment and a greater degree of artistic excellence than lesser works; they also deepen our understanding of the human experience and how the Christian faith addresses it.
We generally follow a schedule of reading and discussing one book a month (meetings are held on one Sunday of every month, normally the 2nd Sunday).
*We are currently reading a collection of tragedies by Euripides. Grab a copy here.
We will meet to discuss this book on Sunday, January 12 at 10:30am in the Foundry Room at the church (221 Armour Drive).
Once registered, group participants will receive monthly emails with links to purchase future texts. In addition to the current book, we recommend that participants purchase and read How to Read Literature Like a Professor by Thomas C. Foster.
